Sipera Systems [1]' IPCS VoIP/UC security appliance product line has made it through Nortel [2] Labs compatibility testing, achieving Nortel Select Product status. The feat enables Nortel and its resellers to sell and support the Sipera IPCS products. It doesn't hurt that the IPCS products are recognized by Nortel as a best-in-class technology that strategically complements Nortel's Communication Server 2100.

Sipera's products achieved this feat based upon input from Nortel customers and analysis of the IPCS VoIP/UC security solutions. In addition, the products successfully completed compatibility testing in a Nortel Lab environment to earn the designation of Nortel Compatible Product.

Nortel's Communication Server 2100 is provided with comprehensive, real-time security with Sipera's IPCS product, enabling Nortel customers to securely deploy UC capabilities. Sipera IPCS appliances are managed by a single, centralized console and can be deployed in the DMZ to secure SIP trunks and remote VoIP users, in front of the 2100 to protect the core systems, or between enterprise networks to enforce UC policies.

Sipera's IPCS family spans four different appliances supporting 200 to 100,000 users with throughput from 10 Mbps to 2 Gbps.
