8x8 adds Virtual Office Mobile to iPhone users' arsenal

It's seems like just about every VoIP company will have an iPhone app one day and in that blessed future, we will hopefully all be working from the beach just outside the conference halls of IT EXPO. In the mean time you could log on to 8x8's new iPhone app from any of the WiFi hotspots around the show floor.

8x8's Virtual Office Mobile allows subscribers to use their Virtual Office phone number and service remotely when they log on to a WiFi connection using their iPhone. The service converts the iPhone into a Virtual Office extention and allows unlimited inbound and outbound domestic calls, as well as international calls at competitive rates. The app will also allow extension dialing, 3-way calling and voicemail. Sounds like the perfect app for making calls from the beaches in Miami.
