Blog: Apple iChatAV to change face of VoIP

While the iChatAV feature of the MacOSX's iLife Suite hasn't received a lot of attention to date, it is going to have a profound impact on VoIP. Built-in H.264 resolution delivers a sharp, clear picture and the video chat component intelligently scales to available bandwidth. In audio mode, iChatAV supports up to nine people in a single session, and it is easy to use. iChatAV will "form the basis of the next wave of home video conferencing" as it is integrated into Apple TV and Apple iPhone.
