Cablevision upgrades business VoIP offering

Tools

Cablevision announced an upgrade to its Optimum Business offering that allows customers to deploy up to 24 lines of Optimum Voice VoIP calling, up from the previous limit of 12 lines per account. The new ploy is aimed at businesses with up to 100 employees; Cablevision said the move, targeted squarely at mid-sized businesses, is an attempt to mine a market that it said has been traditionally underserved by legacy phone companies.

Cablevision said each Optimum Voice line will feature flat-rate pricing, unlimited local and long-distance calling within the U.S., Puerto Rico and Canada, along with services including Enhanced Voice Mail, Find Me, Rollover Hunting and Three-Way Calling.

Each additional line of service will cost $29.99 per month. The upgraded Optimum Business offering will be available to Cablevision's entire service footprint, according to the company.

Cablevision expanding its services? Hmmm, I'd be skeptical of entering into any agreements with the company because they've a reputation of raising prices after introductory rates. Sure 29.99 for an additional line now seems reasonable, however I'd be careful to read the fine print and find out when that jumps to 59.99 - probably in 2 months.

Cablevision has a terrible record in reliability and customer service. Here's some advice from someone who is unfortunately a customer of this terrible company: STAY AWAY!

They are dropping analog channels left and right, trying to force their customers to their new digital service. No more HBO or MSNBC, among others. Just outrageous

They say they're giving 24 lines, but I'd take this promise as one more line in a long chain of Cablevision broken promises and manipulations

First, thank you for your post ed hardyOffers a very stylish clothes, including all peripherals。
