Cisco intros PTT VoIP

Tools

It's Interop time, so there's going to be lots of enterprise network gear getting introduced for the next week or so. Some of it will be VoIP related, and some will be pretty interesting. Like Cisco's demo of the Model 7921, which puts Nextel-style push-to-talk VoIP functionality on 802.11 a/g wireless phones. PTT is very big in public safety markets, which this isn't really made for--but it's perfect for retail and warehouse applications.
