Ifbyphone upgrades Voice 2.0 services to version 3.0

Hosted business VoIP provider Ifbyphone is rolling out a major upgrade to its suite of phone automation services. The new platform includes a new interface and new performance dashboard, plus enhancements to all of its services, including voice broadcasting, IVR and call routing.

One of the new features is a Dynamic Phone Number Insertion function to help measure phone calls from websites. Marketers will be able to display unique phone numbers to website visitors, with numbers linked directly to their Google AdWords or SEO keyword terms. Marketing wonks can use the feature to measure the effectiveness of individual campaigns.

Other new features include a beta release of Call Queuing, automatic best-rate billing that doesn't require pre-payment, pre-minute rates that automatically go down as monthly usage increases, and tools for creating and storing groups for voice broadcasting and conference calling. Many beta features, such as Store Locator, Google Analytics Call Tracking Integration and Lead Distributor, have now moved into commercial products.
