M5: In it for the long term
M5 keeps its focus on offering hosted VoIP, a.k.a. voice as a service, and building trust with its customers--businesses of up to 1,000 people. To build that trust, the company tells them the truth, even if that means telling them that 80 percent of the time it takes four to six weeks to put in a T-1 line, says Dan Hoffman, CEO of M5. By building relationships with customers today, M5 will be around when its customers re-evaluate their phone system needs every seven years, he says.
