Microsoft OCS one step closer to official release

Tools

TechWorld reports that Microsoft's Office Communications Server (OCS) 2007 is being released to manufacturing, which means the OCS will be available in six to eight weeks. Microsoft says OCS' software-based approach to voice will enable companies to cut their telephony expenses in half. OCS 2007 enables users to launch phone calls from their Office 2007 applications with the click of a mouse on the called party's name.
