Northwestern University graduates to VoIP
Just as this prestigious university prepares its students for the future, Northwestern University's telecommunications director is preparing the school's telephone network for the future. Northwestern is purchasing Nortel VoIP switches to replace TDM switches at its Chicago and Evanston campuses, which have been serving the university's 18,000 end users for the past 20 years. The new switches will offer both TDM and VoIP capability to ease migration.
