Shortel hits Release 7

Shoretel, a big player in the SMB market, is shipping a new revision of its VoIP software and some new more efficient switches. Release 7 includes the ability for calls to roll over to as many as 10 devices before heading to voicemail. Administrators can program the Personal Call Manager desktop client with as many as nine different toolbars of up to 24 buttons each. New IP PBXes now support 50 or 90 users in a half-rack space; Shortel now has boxes for 40, 50, 60, 90 or 120 users.
