Siemens debuts two new Gigasets

Look for two new home and office communications devices offered by Siemens to make their worldwide debut at NXTComm in Chicago next week. The Gigaset S450 IP is an easy-to-configure, hybrid (analog/IP) cordless system that supports both PSTN and LAN connections. Short only a partridge in a pear tree, the Gigaset SX762 WLAN DSL gateway offers a wireless Internet router, integrated ADSL2+ modem, a USB 2.0 host port, two analog phone interfaces, four Ethernet ports for networking PCs, 802.11g wireless networking at up to 54 Mbps and firewall features that utilize WPA/WPA2 for enhanced security.
