snom gains access to 15,000 more resellers

VoIP phone manufacturer snom announced Wednesday a distribution partnership with SYNNEX Corporation, a North American CE distributor that did nearly $8 billion in revenue in 2008. Under the terms of the partnership, SYNNEX will sell snom phones through its more than 15,000 resellers, according to the companies.

SYNNEX will sell snom's 3xx series, the m3 DECT mobility phone, the MeetingPoint VoIP conference phone and the newly released snom 870 VoIP phone, among other products, according to the release. SYNNEX's Bob Stegner, senior vice president of marketing for North America, said he thinks his customers will see value in snom phones' feature sets and affordability.

snom has been very active of late, announcing several new products and distribution partners as it aims to gain share from competitors in the IP phone market like Cisco, Avaya and Polycom.
