I have Tivo service and I don't want to install a router. I have VOIP through wireless internet provider. What cable or equipment would I need to plug my tivo into something & dial up via voip?

This wont work. I use Packet8 VOIP and I tried this. The Tivo DVR uses an analog modem and cannot connect over a digital VOIP connection.

I haven't got much of an idea what I'm looking at, I need to buy a new phone for the house but I've seen some which are compatible with VOIP but are expensive,
