Verizon Business offers multi-site IP trunking in Europe
Verizon Business announced Tuesday it has enabled multi-site IP Trunking for enterprise customers, which will reduce capital expenses by allowing one centralized IP PBX to support multiple premises. The offering will extend across Verizon Business' European footprint, allowing the central hub to extend telephony and unified communications access across borders in Belgium, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, the Netherlands and the U.K.
"Many European enterprises are looking to tackle the time-consuming and costly challenges of managing their voice services across Europe, and the centralised multisite, multicountry design of Verizon IP Trunking can help accomplish that," said Rebecca Carr, vice president of global enterprise marketing, Verizon Business. "Benefits are maximized and network complexity is reduced - therefore freeing up valuable time for the enterprise to focus on its own business goals."
As part of the release, Verizon Business also announced it has certified three additional IP PBX platforms: Avaya Communication Manager 5.1, Avaya Communication Manager Branch, and Cisco Unified Communications 520 System.
