Verizon says Vonage infringed

The news keeps getting worse for Vonage. Its IPO dropped like a stone, the SEC is investigating short-sellers and now Verizon says Vonage is infringing on seven of its patents. Verizon claims protection on techniques for routing VoIP calls from the Internet to the PSTN, on billing and fraud protection and on enhanced features such as voicemail. Vonage denies it and says it will defend itself from the lawsuit.
