VoIPing on a Nintendo DS

Tools

A homebrew application for making VoIP calls on a Nintendo DS has emerged from gamers. A post on GBAtemp.net reports that member "samuelv" released an app-SvSIP--that allows SIP calls to be made directly from the device.

"Several members have already tried it and it is reported to work great," GBAtemp's Costello writes

SvSIP is making the rounds among Nintendo users, who are working out the bugs, according to Gizmodo. A SIP account is required, but anyone techie enough to consider voice-enabling a DS probably already has one.
