Voxeo teams with Remego for contact centers in APAC
Florida-based VoIP platform provider Voxeo is teaming with Remego, a Sigapore-based VoIP provider to provide open source contact center services in the Asia Pacific region.
Using Voxeo’s open technology platform in Interactive Voice Response (IVR), instant messaging, SIP, VoiceXML, CCXML and mobile web for the creation and management of unified communications and unified self-service applications, Remego will provide platform independent and multi-channel solutions to companies looking to launch contact centers in the APAC region. The partnership will lower implementation costs, lower ongoing operations and maintenance costs and offer better analytics to customers, according to the release.
Last month Voxeo raised $9 million from North Atlantic Capital and Florida Growth Fund to continue its growth through acquisitions. In the past 14 months, the startup has picked the SIP VoIP platform Micromethod as well as Motorola's VoiceXML brower, instant messaging developer IMified and application server Voiceobjects.
