A Year of What's Next in IP Comm

Grab a nice big cup of hot chocolate or a pile of grandma's holiday cookies and let's take a look at some of the great things that have been happening in IP communications this year. Since this is the last issue of FierceVoIP for 2009, I thought it would be fun to compile a few of the top stories and trends from 2009 and include lots of links so you can go back and refresh your memory.

I did my best to pick trends and themes that stood out over the course of the year--rather than focus on individual news stories. I did this with an eye towards 'What's next for IP communications,' so although this is a review of the year, we are still looking to the future of our industry. We all have our favorite individual stories and hopefully one of yours fit into some of the picks included here.
