Price is important, but think about how many people abandon a cheap product because it's just too much trouble or just isn't good enough. Then think about how the truly great companies manage to keep customers. It's not all about price; it's about creating an excellent customer experience. Sunrocket, competing in a bruising part of the VoIP market, gets it. The carrier is trying to make its mark not by emphasizing a technological or pricing advantage, but by trying to be a phone company that people actually like. Who would have thought of such a thing?

Sunrocket provides the best service I have ever had! I worked with Verzion before, and Bell, but both suck as far as support. My phone bill with them was about $300 less than my total for a whole year. At first I was scared, but I have never had a problem. With the new SimRing stuff they have, call forwarding is not a problem.

Have had 2 sunrocket lines for over 3 months and have loved it. Went to fiberoptics for inet access and never put in a landline connection at new( not new construction) house. The quality and reliability have been perfect. Works with the alarm, fax, everything. Recommended to several friends and they are up and running and liking it too. Their cust serv has been responsive to things like number transfer etc. Have had NO tech problems. Very solid system and simple too.

I have been with SunRocket for 5 days and it has been a nightmare. When I called customer service for help, I have been hung up on, lied to, given empty promises, transferred upon transfers, laughed at, insulted, humiliated. I am so disaapointment that I choose this company and didn't check this list first. Don't use SunRocket yet, they have a lot of growing up to do, like treat your customers like an important part of the business. I am so disappoint, it wasn't worth the savings of the land line.

Started off having trouble with getting the assigned phone number activated. The company SR bought the number from took over a month to activate it. In the mean time we couldn't receive calls, only call out. SR gave us credit for the month and the service has been excellent. Clear voice, no lost calls, and great features for a fantastic price. (We got 2 years of service for 199.00 during a special promo.)

Sunrocket is great! My wife and I signed up 13 months ago. we got two phones with our promo. The service is great. One fee for local and long distance. No hidden charges either! One price and thats it. Sunrocket rocks!

SunRocket-excuse my language but this is a company made up of COMPLETE IDIOTS! I initieated this service on Dec. 22, 2006. Now more than two months later (02/25/07) I still have no service. I have called service rep's about every three days. Listen to this...today SunRocket mailed me an e-mail thanking me for cancelling my service and phone number transfer!!! As you can guess I did not cancel my service and now I am being told that it will be another 45 days for my phone number from Comcast to transfer to SunRocket. Yes, I am still paying for TWO VOIP services. If I cancel my service with Comcast my phone number will be lost.

Looks like SunRocket is offering their 3 month free offer again....woohoo!

I just signed up for the unlimited plan and got this deal.

Andy

have the service for a year now and love it. quality is very good. no problems.

Low price, quality and service. Had it a year now. Made me wary of the whole VOIP space, considering going back to the PSTN.

I have been without a phone since my Gizmo crashed 12 days ago; each of the four plus supervisors I have spoken to has assured me a new one is in the mail!!!!! Needless to say Sunrockets customer service sticks at best!!

I agree with Shelley that SunRocket service is made up of COMPLETE IDIOTS. Dealing with their Customer Support in Springfield, MO is a nightmare.

I just dumped VIA TALK VOIP SERVICE. Talk about problems VIA Talk is bad news.
Before tring VIA Talk I was with SunRocket, which I just switched back to.
SunRocket is the best VOIP out their I believe. All Voips have problems, but SunRocket is the best I have used so far.
For the price and minimal problems it beats the hell out of virzons land line prices. Now!, Verizon is just plan greedy and it seems like they want to go bankrupt.
Before when I had SunRocket their support was overseas, but last year they just moved their support back to the USA.

I have had Sunrocket for almost 2 years. It has worked well. No reason to call tech support, so I don't know if they are good or bad. I would recommend the service.

With Sunrocket having shut down, I wanted to mention that myphonecompany is still alive and kicking. They have a promotion where you get the fourth month free with agent sign up... and they also have a plan called mydevice that allows you to use your existing equipment and myphonecompany service for a lower fee. They also have an expanded international calling radius. To find out more, go to the agent site at www.rip2p.com and click the sign up link to be redirected to their site to sign up and receive your fourth month free! You can even port your existing SunRocket Number to myphonecompany for FREE! MyPhoneCompany requires 911 service on your account due to new FCC regulations. It costs a one time $15.00 activation fee, and is an additional $1.50 per month. This surcharge will appear on any and all VOIP services due to the new FCC Regulations.

Last post was July 18, 2007 ?? I would think there would have been more written about Sunrocket, I now put all my trust in cable telephone. At least they won't leave us without notice. Check out
